ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
TO TASK 6.1: Co-financing of individual research activities – costs of foreign trips (EUROPE) related to the implementation of Individual Research Plans at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia
As part of the project „jUŚt transition – Potencjał Uniwersytetu Śląskiego podstawą Sprawiedliwej Transformacji regionu” („JUŚt transition – The potential of the University of Silesia as the basis for the Just Transition of the region”).
The project coordinator announces a call for proposals for the task: Co-financing of individual research activities – costs of foreign trips (EUROPE) related to the implementation of Individual Research Plans at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia.
Description of the activity for which funding can be applied for
Single research activities involving short trips abroad (within Europe) for the purpose of preparing a doctoral dissertation, including queries, consultations, use of laboratories, field research.
The basic costs of the foreign delegation will be financed, i.e. the costs of travel, accommodation and subsistence, as well as other costs necessary for the implementation of the task.
The amount of funding will be determined in accordance with the rules of financing foreign trips in force at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The project coordinator reserves the right to decide on the final amount of funding, including the length of the funded mobility.
THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 25.06.2024 TO 09.07.2024
The subsidy can be used by a person who meets all of the following requirements:
- He/She has the status of a PhD student at the University of Silesia in Katowice,
- He/She conducts research to support the transformation process, in particular with the directions of the green and digital economy,
- Within the set deadline, hesh will hand over in person, by traditional mail or intra-university mail to the Project Office (Rector’s Office Building, Bankowa 12, room 2.7) a set of original documents (incomplete documents will not be considered).

Recruitment will take place on the basis of the Regulations of recruitment and participation in the project „U.S. transition – The potential of the University of Silesia as the basis for the Just Transition of the region” – Ordinance No. 95/2024 of the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice of 19 June 2024.
In the event of the same number of points, the order of applications is decisive.
The procedure of mobility applications under the project is carried out by the office of the Doctoral School.
